Nice Busch! (http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-13197618,00.html)
-
this is hilarious...it makes me feel better to know that bears can be alcoholics too.
-
That reminds me...while I was over in Ireland/England I noticed a lot of the younger crowd drinking that nasty rats piss aka Budweiser....even though some of the finest beers in the world were right there on tap.
I suppose they thought they were being all cool and yank or something...

i was wondering if they still made oly. . .i'll be sure to send everyone a six pack of rainier and oly when i move out there next year. oly: it's the water. . .what a strange slogan.
edit: looks like oly shut down last year, but you can still drink the water-

It's the water, again
Oly beer drinkers can relive their glory days minus the grains, hops and fermentation â?? basically the beer part. A new owner will dip into the artesian well that made Tumwater famous.
The defunct brewery, once the home of Olympia Beer, and most recently owned by Miller Brewing, has been sold to a Nevada-based purveyor of bottled water.
At its core, this is about economic development for Thurston County, and work for about 10 percent of the 400 workers laid off when the brewery closed in June.
All-American Bottled Water bought the 176-acre site that includes the main brewery and the historic brewhouse. Part of the $14 million deal with Miller includes a promise never to brew beer on the site. Too bad.
The purchase still puts people back to work, and the famous water may inspire a thirst for a tall cold one at the end of the shift.

Actually, Michelob is the lesser of all evils when it comes to doodle beer.

I hate American beer. Give me the German brews. Swchartzbier. Ah... that's the stuff. I think you have to visit an authentic Biergarten to experience it. And then again you can probably go to any old corner store in Germany and get it.
Sie kann im der Duetschland bier das schmect gut finden! :D
P.S. Please excuse my mediocre german.

What about Sierra Nevada?

Sierra Nevada is cack...so is Sam Adams for that matter.
I do like some of the local micro-brews though, Racoon Red at Rock Bottom is pretty decent, and they have some new unfiltered stuff out at the moment that is nice and wheaty.

What does Michael Jackson, (http://www.beerhunter.com/index.html) Beer Hunter have to say about it?

Best beer I've ever had:
Big Rock Brewery (http://www.bigrockbeer.com/)
Selfish Canadians keep it all to themselves though.
