But people in Baltimore dont really "nosh", i think thats a snotty DC thing to do. There is a fine fondue restaraunt two doors or so down from the Recher called the Melting Pot, but thats $50 a person and for a 2 hour meal, not a "noshing" place. Also, there is a Rainforest Cafe, and TGI Fridays, and I believe another restaraunt, maybe a diner, connnected to Towson Town Center. But i was talking something quick (http://www.930.com/ubb/smile.gif)
sorry, we dont have an El Salvadorian restaraunts here, although those do kick ass

nosh is a new term to me
-
nosh means: to snack on

well
i had tickets to the show, but when these 2 girls offered us $50 a piece for our tickets, we decided that Interpol could wait until Coachella to be seen.
so I didnt go in, but a few of my coworkers said it was very very good.. They are Interpol freaks tho (http://www.930.com/ubb/smile.gif)

Well I think it was mixed better than at the 9:30 club show. Same engineer, but this time the bass was not so overpowering, the kick actually had some bottom to it, and the guitars were much more prominent. The lead singer is getting a bit too Ziggy Stardust (eyeliner!) for me. That said, they said more between songs than the 9:30 show, and played very well. Good show overall, got there 1/2 into the Raveonettes, other than too much bass, they had a cool sound going on, might have to get the mini-lp.
-
Did anyone catch the Raveonettes? They will be playing a show at The Tavern @ AU on 3/19 along with White Light Motorcade And Longwave.

It was hard to tell if they had a DAT or something going to beef up their sound, it was really big. Think the drums were doubled and some synth bits thrown in.

The Best Buy website shows Whip it On released 11-2002 on Columbia on sale for $7.99. They also show the album being released on 3-18-2003 on Sony on sale for $9.99. Sony and Columbia are the same company, but I wonder if the 3-18 release includes something more than the ~25 minutes of music on the current release.

I also noticed that according to Sony, or Columbia, the EP hadn't yet been released, which I found confusing. I guess seeing some kind of tracklist would resolve the issue.

At the show they were saying a mini-lp was coming out shortly. So would guess 8 songs would equate to that.
