I'm going to go with 7 - 1. Although, I've never had anyone actually answer the phone when I call so maybe I should drop those odds.
Maybe I should also ask the over/under for number of rings before someone answers. I'd say 15 might be fair. I usually hang up around then and like I said, I've never had a call answered so I don't have any good evidence to base those odds on.
Thoughts?

Clearly we should all flood this number with calls FOR SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES.

Someone call him and ask for Coheed and Cambria set times. It'll be funny.

i think anyone with a fairly good head on their shoulders would get piss-mad at the mere mentioning of Coheed and Cambria.

Is he going to digitally beat my ass?
I think it's pretty obvious from my comments that *I* personally am not calling him. Chill out, Kosmo, you used to be cool.

I thought this thread would be about the the Odds reforming and playing at the club. Oh well.
Maybe they have caller id. ;)
When I call, they pick up and are most friendly and helpful. Yet, I use a different number. Isn't the number you posted the [old] hotline?
(Psst, I think Kosmo's comment was meant to be funny as well.)

The Odds did play the club years back, I still have a pick from that show. Nice guys.

This is the telephone number according to the FAQ - 202.265.0930

have some sympathy for those of us who have had the misfortune of actually SEEING the band.
i sat there for 40 minutes 5 feet away from the singer. i should have punched him or something. (this was at a bar almost 4 years ago.. there were a total of 25 people at the show)
opener: coheed & cambria
headliner: explosions in the sky.

is that the dude with the gigantic hair? did any bats fly out?

For the record-- 393-0930 is the number to 930's concert line-- a recorded message of upcoming shows. Our concert line machine actually broke recently; our new machine just arrived and should be up and running within a few days. But a live person will NEVER, EVER answer at that number!
to get a live person, call the box office at 265-0930. we usually pick up on the first ring. word.

Remember, thatguy is an employee of the 930 club as security so will not digitally beat your ass, but simply escort you off the internet.

Wow. People actually remember that show. Odds were one of the great power pop bands in the 90s.
Craig Northey (from Odds) is doing a tour in the new year. I'm hoping he manages to book a DC date - it'll probably be at a place like DC9.

Yeah, currently Craig's side project is: Stripper's Union. Next year, he'll tour w/ Jesse Valenzuela. NYC date is set (BB Kings). I'm guessing, RHT in MD might be another...But I'm hoping to bring them even closer in to DC/VA [as well].
Read his blogs on MySpace and his website. He's a very funny and smart guy!
