So we're headed to the great state of Washington on Wed for some Mt. Rainer hiking, Mariners/Orioles baseball, visting the grave of Layne Staley (who is still dead), and going to the Bumbershoot Festival on Sat and Sun.
On Saturday, we'll catch Solomon Burke, the Pale, Mary Lou Lord, Bobby Bare Jr., Kathleen Edwards, and the Dandy Warhols.
Our list of Sunday desires is much shorter, with perhaps only Rhett Miller, Grey Delisle, and maybe Chuck Prophet on the list.
The only scheduling dilemna seems to be on Saturday. Should we see Minus the Bear, or should we see Voyager One? Anybbody familiar with both or either who could offer an opinion?

you HAVE to see minus the bear!!! they are amazing. the album is great, and i saw them at the black cat a few weeks ago.... they were right on target and sounded fabulous!! im sure the show would be even cooler since theyd be in their home state, too. ok so i don't know about the other band at all, but seriously, Minus the Bear is wonderful. Then again, musical opinion is - as you say - subjective.
