What do you think?
<img src="http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/39238000/jpg/_39238601_beck203.jpg" alt=" - " />
England beat S. Africa 2-1 today in a friendly but it looks like Beck's broke his arm during the game.
-
I think it's quite nasty. Will Posh get a matching 'do?
-
he lloks even more daft than normal....
I will never be able to llook at my Bo Derek collection the same way ever again.
-
As Smackette correctly asked "why does he let her do that to him?"
To which I replied "Sweetie, if you looked like Posh, I'd let you put my hair in corn rolls too"
That's about all I have to say on that.

Now, on to the more important part of our inquiry - this would be crushing to my hopes and dreams for this US tour, although it would be great for him to be fit for United next season. Any definitive word on the severity (few are specualting at this point)?
-
The best 'do' Becks had was the Roy Keane shaved head look...it was great being in manc seeing all the little boys in their Beckham shirts and shaved heads....I can't see too many manc dad's letting little Eddie get the Bo Derek do to look like their hero. "yer not get'n that lad, yer'll look like a right puff"

Agreed, although I was quite keen for the mohawk for the 2002 World Cup after a while.

The Man Utd official website said it's a fractured thumb. He's out of action for "several weeks" although was scheduled to miss next months England qualifier against Slovakia due to suspension anyway. Should be fine for the US tour.

Relatively good news, all things considered. Cheers.

I think there is a rule in that you can't play with your arm in a cast. I know they do over here but then again...this isn't exactly footie mecca is it now, and you know the yankee-doodles like to change the rules to their benefit! ;)
-
that would make sense.....
Plus its more of a wrist injury....

He'll have plenty of time to film the sequel to that classic flick " Bend It Like Beckham". The working title of the new film is "Braid It Like Beckham" where all the gay hairdressers in Manchester get to plant their seed in his corn row!

Yeah, it's hard to fall to the ground inside the box and whine like a little girl in hopes of a penalty kick, when you are wearing a manly cast!

If you're trying to get a bite...you failed.
If not, shut the fuck up until you know what you're talking about. I doubt anyone can accuse Beckham of that...that's a continental European or South American tactic.

I'd say he succeeded at "getting a bite."

I dont know, I am pretty sure you are both of the above, though.

Seeing as you are both it's irrelevant.

Bungle Bud - Wolves supporter?
A good buddy of mine is a Wolves supporter and we watched the match at Summers Monday morning. He cried like a baby when they won (nothing like big burly Brits crying). It was refreshing and I couldn't be happier for him.
Sidenote - Becks and Posh will be in attendance at the MTV Movie awards this Saturday. It airs June 5.

....another footie side note. AC Milan beat Juventus in the Champions league final yesterday at Old Trafford. 3-2 after penalties...Incidently the Champions League final at Old Trafford had the lowest attendance at the stadium for the whole of the 2002/2003 season. Ironic huh!
Congrats to Wolves by the way....will Dennis Irwin be playing for them this coming season? He's sure to get a standing ovation when they play United.

When they asked Irwin if he was excited about going back to Old Trafford and Highbury, his face went dead white and with a startled look said "Oh gosh, I don't know" and laughed. He said that he didn't think he still had it in him to compete at that level but would take some time to think about it. Then he laughed again, in typical Dennis Irwin style.
