Haven't listened yet, but here's a link to the new Old 97's single.

decent track, nothing spectacular but pleasant enough.
much more interesting to me is the link (http://www.dublab.com/audio/podcast/02_08_08_holy_fuck_live.mp3) to a holy fuck live in-studio session.

That might be why the thread is named "For Rhett." Just sayin'...

rhett feels free to poo-poo threads that aren't specifically for him, so why shouldn't i? ;)
the reason why i made the jump from the old'97s to holy fuck was b/c it was the next story on PF.

Thanks NKOTB.
Heard it a couple of weeks ago. I had to play it at low volume because my daughter was asleep in the next room. Neither Celeste now I were that crazy about it, but maybe we just need to crank up the volume.
Bands with names like "Holy Fuck" or "Damn Yankees" I purposely avoid. Why put a curse word in your band name? Tres juvenile.

agreed. the first time i saw them perform, i thought "great band hindered by a lousy name".
during my early teenage punk phase, i listened to the crucifucks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crucifucks). made me feel sooooo bad-ass
