"Can you remember the first pop song you ever heard?" ...that wasn't in the public domain.

Anthony Newley wasn't it?

I think the first song I ever heard, that I took notice of that is, was "Something in the air" by Thunderclap Newman.

I have no fucking clue. It came out of a little wind up Jack In The Box toy I had. The thing irritated me so badly yet I wanted to hear the music. LOL. I use to crank the thing up and hold the lid down so the clown inside the box couldn't pop out.

Then I had a wind up guitar. Can't remember what song that played. I remember smashing it up inside my crib so that I could get to the music and look at and control the little things inside that made the music. Tried to do the same thing with my Jack In The Box but that was a much harder nut to crack.

Yes, I was a wild Rock And Roller even when I was a little baby.    :D   I was born to rock.
