for those about to participate in the NIN/JA presale, recommendation: do it through the JA presale rather than NIN's fan club. both are free.
sorry for the late notice... i suck.
edit: forget that piece of advice if you're going for pit/GA tickets, looks like both presales have them.
how did y'all do? i ended up with second row dead center for the holmden NJ show :D
-
I got row Q dead center for Merriweather. Could've gotten the GA on the floor, but I opted for a seat instead :)
-
that's a really good seat - NIN's light show is best appreciated from a few rows back.
when dave and perry come prancing out in their skin-tight pants, you might wish you were closer tho :D
-
this thread is not about ninjas?
-
Got 2 FLOOR seats - PAINLESS! THANK YOU TRENT! FUCK YOU BILLY PUMPKIN!!

fyi, there are no seats in the GA floor section ;)
-
Front row for Philly...awesome. I tried for GA Pit, but no dice. I saw that I could have gotten GA Pit for Merriweather, but it will be too tough for me to get off work on a Tuesday night in June to see a show. Rather than risk missing Jane's, I'd rather take a safe bet and leave work a little early on a Friday, train up to Philly and go that route instead.
-
god damn 86 bucks for pit
-
How much are the tickets?
And are NIN headlining or ?
-
That really was the easiest pre sale I have ever taken part in ... Ga floor for that bill is going to be amazing.
-

not currently, but it most certainly could be:

got 1 pit MD.
-
Got center Row H for Merriweather which equals 2nd row behind the pit works for me ;D
I tried janes site first since they seemed to have better seats for the shows that went on sale yesterday compared to nin.com but since they weren't differentiating between GA and reserved seats had to go to nin.com instead (which gave a choice).
Just a heads up to anyone who hasn't purchased yet and wants reserved seats...keep checking janes site as I'm almost positive once they sell out of the GA pit allotment they'll start selling reserved seats, concertmaps (the ticket seller) also handled pre-sale for Muse at Patriot Center a couple years back and it was the same way, had to wait a goddamned day before the GA tickets sold and they started moving reserved ones.
-
Ticket prices for Chicago are only 45 bucks while everywhere else is 75 to 100 for pit.
-
That's becuz JA won't be in Chicago...only NIN.

ahhhh you are right.

no kidding - GA floors are still available. that definitely wasn't the case for the holmden show - you got only one pull of the P1 tickets. they sold out in seconds.

chicago = NIN only, no JA (not even sure streetsweeper is opening).

yeah I had the option of either pit or seats...I opted for seats...I have no idea how my seat is though, they gave like 3 numbers.....Section R:C, Row L and then the seat number....I haven't been to Merriweather in years....where is this? from the one seating site I found on the internet, it seems like it might be on the right hand of the stage or something

congrats, you've got 5th row.

Used NIN presale and got ninth row. Was the easy presale I have used and the best part I did not have to deal with Ticketmaster!!
-
The ticketmaster site says Jane's is closing this show (MD). My guess is they're switching back and forth

trent posted on the NIN message board that JA will be closing every night:
Here are the set times for the upcoming NIN/JA tour of North America. Please make sure you get to the venue early to see all the bands.
For WEEKDAY shows:
Street Sweeper Social Club: 7:00 - 7:30pm
Nine Inch Nails: 7:45 - 9:15pm
Jane's Addiction: 9:30 - close
For WEEKEND shows:
Street Sweeper Social Club: 7:30 - 8:00pm
Nine Inch Nails: 8:15 - 9:45pm
Jane's Addiction: 10:00 - close
These times may slightly change due to various circumstances, but count on them being close to this. Plan accordingly.
Thank you.
TR
and in other NIN/JA news:
In an effort to allow you to document your experience at the upcoming NIN/JA performances, we will be relaxing our photo/video policy (5/7/09 - 6/12/09 only). Fans will be permitted to bring in their personal cameras, video and audio recorders. This is not not an open door policy for any and all recording devices. Please try to use common sense as we are trying to ensure this experience is great for everyone attending. Don't show up with a television crew and a recording studio.
To be clear: this applies only to the North American NIN/JA tour.
Examples:
I have a nice SLR camera and lens and I want to shoot photos. YES.
I have a high-quality camcorder and want to record video / audio. YES.
I have a shoulder-mounted broadcast-quality video camera and want to shoot the show. NO.
I have a flash-based audio recorder with a stereo hand-held mic and want to record the show. YES.
I have a full Pro-Tools rig running off a generator and want to record the show. NO.
I don't have any recording devices but I'd kind of like to make out with Ilan. NO (probably).
The following guidelines will be enforced.
- Photo and video access is granted only for non-commercial private use.
- Photo and video access is limited to areas permitted by type of ticket held.
- NO access to barricade/photo pit.
- NO shoulder mounted video equipment allowed, all cameras must be hand held.
- NO equipment with a dimension longer than 20 inches (including cameras, lenses, etc.)
- NO equipment bags that violate existing venue bag policies (check with venue)
- NO external supports (tripods, monopods, steadicam mounts, mic stands, etc.)
- NO video or audio broadcast equipment (microwave, RF, etc.)
- NO external power equipment
- NO lighting equipment (mounted or secondary)
WHEN IN DOUBT, LEAVE IT AT HOME.
If you plan to take advantage of this relaxed policy, we recommend that you
do the following...
- Carefully review your equipment to ensure it meets these specs.
- Arrive early for possible security delays.
- If your equipment is so expensive and/or fragile that you'd freak out if something happened to it, leave it behind, we're not responsible.
- Do not interfere with anyone else's enjoyment of the show or create a hazard.
We will do our best to make sure venue security staff is aware of our camera policy. However, there are always going to be cases where local security misunderstands and attempts to enforce a stricter camera policy. This is unfortunately one of the hazards of attempting to be considerably more open about recording than most of the concert industry. If a security guard hassles you for equipment that is allowed under our guidelines, please ask him to speak with NIN security about the matter and we will do our best to resolve it.
Audio and video recorded at NIN/JA shows is for personal use only, and cannot under any circumstances be sold or used for profit in any way.
so some really great bootlegs, images and video will be available from this tour... AKA LEAVE YOUR EQUIPMENT AT HOME AND JUST ENJOY THE SHOW. and finally:

pit tix still available via JA... amazing.
The last time I saw Jane's, I was in the pit at Nissan. At the end of the show, me and this other guy (complete stranger) were at the front lauding Perry to sing "I would for you (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN8V4VflpWc)". He shook his head and left stage, but we kept singing. He came back out, sang a verse with us and said "I would for your too, man, but Dave's being a dick tonight."
Someone in the pit, please get them to sing "I Would for You" and tell me how amazing it is.
