I've been browsing around this thing for a little while. Doubt it will be up for long but it is kind of amazing.

have anything delivered right to your door . . . including the local police.
-
Yeah, especially since the cat is out of the bag. It takes all of 3-4 minutes for anybody to get on and activate an account.
Looking around is interesting, though.
-
Ahh, back to my old IP addy.
-
Holy shit! When that article was published, bitcoins were worth $7-8 each. Now they are at $16-17.

Rave is BACK, motherfuckers.

Ah, nothing beats making posts about drugs on an internet chatboard at 5:50am on a Monday morning, no?
I may have you beat...I was up at 4:49am this morning, unable to get a full night of sleep for a second straight night. I blame it on the steriods I'm on to clear up the poison ivy. Should make my mid-morning lunchbreak run a breeze.

They claim these 2 roosters are named Elvis and Frank but now we know it's really Az and Rhett.

My sleep routine has been a mess for years, now. I have all but lost all hope in ever fixing it.
-
If you plan to have kids, don't bother fixing your sleep routine until you're ready to tie your tubes because those little pukes will just stomp it into submission.

Same here. The 3 of us should meet up in the Beer thread some odd hour for a moonlight toast. ;D
-
Ah the beauty of having only one kid, and a wife who works part time from home while taking care of that one kid.
Plus, I get up before them anyway. Even on weekends.

My daughter sleeps in. But my boy has always been an early bird. He's 7 now, so I get a bowl of cereal ready for him to fix in the morning. He does that, then messes with his legos for hours and hours. I love having my mornings back.
Nights were always pretty good for me...I'm a bedtime nazi and don't put up with any crap, and they've always slept through the night. But my son. Holy crap. When he was 3 or 4 he used to literally wake up at 4 in the morning and would be like "Dad let's wrestle!!!". uggh.
-
Psyched that a thread about buying drugs turned into a discussion about our kids' sleeping habits. IN LESS THAN ONE PAGE.

Just wait until the Chazter gets a few more years on him and, for the most part, can be trusted to get his day started on his own, then cranks out the Motherhead... at 7:00AM. ;D

Hah. That is hilarious.
If I could bottle up what is coursing through my son's veins and sell it on the Internet i would make BILLIONS.

Dude, the two are TOTALLY connected. Well, in my case at least.

Clearly someone has never used the ol' Nyquil in the bottle to get a certain crying someone to sleep.

ehh that's the oldest joke in the book.
BUT what I have been known to do is set all the clocks in the house ahead an hour or more and then announce "whoa would you look at the time the night sure has gotten away from me....everybody brush your teeth and get in bed!!!"
-
What the...?
-
seeing how these children have fathers that post on internet chat forums . . . i'd say they'll be needing these drugs in a few years from now.
-
Oh man.
They have cookies!
And butter!
Hey, Jaguar...
Just now noticed the cannabis edibles/cookables section.

Well, a weed decriminalization bill just passed Connecticut so who cares about a bunch of wooden-clog-wearing amstel drinkers?
Besides, probably around 80% of those coffee shops' revenues are probably coming from foreigners.
-
So, anybody wanna throw in on a few grams of mescaline?
I kid.

Maryland just passed some sort of Medical Marijuana thing but I don't know the details. Sure would help though if they allowed for the safe and legal sale of the stuff!

Has anyone else messed with the tor network/hidden internet? Probably something I have no business looking through but it's fascinating. And what I've seen is supposedly barely scratching the surface. I've read of organ markets, assassination markets, people looking to sell radioactive material and a plethora of classified government documents buried in there.
-
How many of those markets are actually ongoing stings for people dumb enough to use the internet for such things?

I've heard of it and even a good explanation of how it works but it was all a little more than I knew how to reach. Sounded like a bit torrent internet provider but didn't have a clue how to hook up with it. One of those things that I wasn't interested in using at the time but wanted to store in the back of my head if the need ever arose.
Never heard about it being used for black market items and services but the way some people are, it doesn't surprise me. What I heard was that the guy who started Wikileaks (not Julian Asange but some other guy) was using it, I guess with Julian and others, to share information. In fact, this was the guy who was explaining the system. What appealed to me most was that it's an ideal means to communicate if they decide to throw the kill switch for the internet at some point. In fact, if I recall correctly, this was the means of how information was getting out of Egypt when the shit hit the fan there. Freedom of information!
-
Yeah; Wikileaks has a bunch of mirrors on there. I have not heard about people in Egypt using it to communicate during the revolution but that does make sense. Once you are on it, you are rerouted through other IP addresses so that you become untraceable. My first post in this thread, for instance, shows some address from Germany as my IP. The rerouting process does slow your connection down considerably, though.
-
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says his life has a single, simple purpose: ?I like crushing bastards.? That sentiment sounds noble, until you find out just how flexible his definition of ?bastards? is.
?All of us came across material which was clearly likely to lead to the death of innocent civilians if we published it,? recalls a journalist who worked with Assange on the release of 90,000 secret U.S. military documents on the war in Afghanistan. ?All of us had the experience of bringing this to his attention and being told by him, in effect, if an Afghan civilian helps coalition forces, he deserves to die.?

This will probably strike your fancy. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DX46Qv_b7F4)
It is a lecture from the Tor developers on how it has been/is being censored in China, Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, etc. It is a bit long and some of the technical stuff they get into is a little over my head but still worth watching.

Poison ivy is the fucking worst. I wonder if I need to get some steroids to clear it up like this guy did.

dang, just broke $28k
we need stablecoins! this is an insane way for a 'currency' to act
I'm happy my $100 gamble is now worth $250, but would have never considered putting $10k in there (but would have been happy with a $15k payday if I did)

"El Salvador now holds 700 coins."
current price of BTC: ~$42,000
so a country of 6.5 million has a reserve of some $30M, or a little over four and half dollars per inhabitant. no problem on the horizon here!
-
Isn't $4.5 like 40% of the average annual salary of an El Salvadorian?
-
That seems a lotta low…

How am I supposed to know what an El Salvadorian makes? What frame of reference could I even have?
