What's the points breakdown exactly? I haven't seen any solid information anywhere yet about how points are accrued. Is it as you say? A flat 10pt per ticket? And how does one go about claiming the 25pts for attending? And what are you saying with the gift cards?

I've never really understood why the club is doing this.It's to let you/us know that they care more about us than those big wigs over in Silver Spring ;)
All indications are that money is pouring in: the club is booked most nights, shows are selling out, ticket prices are rising and people are drinking. I get that there's an element of free "grassroots" advertising with all the branded merch, but this seems like a huge pain in the ass to administer with some small and dubious payback.
Does this program bring new concert-goers to the club? Is there a glut of cupcakes and beanies that have to go? Is this a way to collect more data on who exactly comes to the club? I'm all about the club - its one of my favorite places to see a band - but I wonder how many people would rather pay $1 less for their ticket than get a free cupcake once a year. That said, I'll be first in line on my birthday....

Also it's not clear how things are done
1. you need to show the card (or the image from your email on your phone) when you first enter the club to the ticket taker.
2. everytime you purchase something, you need to hand your card to the bar tender (I tend to always pay cash and dont' run a tab, but I suspect when you pay your tab you can give them the card.
3. the shrits are at the merch table and they had plenty. Not sure if they only offered them to the early sign ups.
The points usually don't show up until a day or so later (at least that how it worked with ticketfly purchase)
Also I've emailed the staff running FWB and they have been helpful. I said I didn't give the ticktet taker my card and she said, just take a photo of the ticket and she'll credit my account
I also paid cash for my drinks and the bartender swiped my card each time....but sadly they didn't show up on my account a few days later.
I'm hoping they will resolve that

the door staph taking your ticket will have a scanner for your card. just show it to them with your ticket, and you'll be all set for your "attending a show" points.

Does FWB still give out those special passes for the VIP bar at Merriweather? I haven't seen a show yet this year but I'm going Thursday and I'm hoping they still do. I had it for New Order and Belle and Sebastian last summer and very quickly got spoiled. It's become one of my favorite parts of going to Merriweather.

Today Sleep puts out their first album in like 20 years so it reminds me that whenever the tickets went on sale Sleep at 9:30 I cashed in 800 points for a Sleep ticket. They sent me the automatic email confirmation or whatever but I have deleted it on accident since then. I have emailed them twice about getting into the show but have got no response each time. it is just a frequent IMP ticket buyer rewards program...Sidehatch has probably cashed in ten free tickets by now...On my 4th….but dang that's a pretty good deal as I don't see live nation giving me anything for being a long term customer other than grief
Well you can print your card and use that barcode for scanning points
Also if you ever don’t have card on you one can email them after show and they add the points
It is true they can be slow to respond but in my experience as long as you cash in points via FWB and get automated email response you will be taken care of...
Also it has to be said if you donate cds/lps they need for hall of records you get 100 points per cd and 150 per lp (sometimes more if you ask and it is something rare)...
Occasionally they have opportunities to get additional points..one time they gave 500 points for filling out a survey
Also one can cash in points for gift card and the card can be used at bars at 930 Club...can also use points for select IMP merch...I got the 930 Christmas ornament this way

Does not require texting...there has been some confusion...just punch in a phone number and that number is your ticket to use when you pick up...you punch number in when you pick it up
