the sight is running really really slow.. my theory is that we are being cyberattacked from somewhere in central virginia but maybe we just need a reboot or something... i am not a tech expert but every page takes like 5 minutes to come up on the screen..

there is indeed an issue with the virtual private server:
"Waiting for vps.930.com..."
Just took me 42 seconds to load a page.
edit: and it took me almost a minute to get to the edit screen to modify this post.

Still crap for me. I'm on C**c*st in Greenbelt, about a mile from the Vinyls. No new gifs until it's fixed.

i'm still experiencing issues here at work. pages still taking 30-40 seconds to load, "waiting on vps.930.com". so i open a 930.com link in a new tab, go do something else, and eventually get back to reading that tab once it open. i'm on a very fast network here, no problems with any other websites, blah blah blah...

ok, that is weird . . . I have been using my laptop to access the board (without issues), recently, and not using my phone, because my phone blows for coming, on here. so I do now, notice delays and all shit while using, my android.

so the DC City Paper Best of DC 2016 issue is out... 930 won best music venue.. no surprise...best place to buy vinyl is joint custody... i find that a bizzaro choice best outdoor venue is wolftrap... best music festival is the kingman island bluegrass and folk festival (never even heard of it)... the charge money to people to hang out on the mall festival came in runner up along with sweetlife.. best local original band is aztec sun with runners up the muddy crows and batala.. best local hip hop artist is wale...best local cover band white ford bronco..

this is a great event, went two years ago with the kids and had a blast.
Kingmans island is right by RFK

the last time i checked, my laptop works fine on ie, slow on chrome, and slow on my android phone.

I think your webhost needs to investigate their routing or something as there has got to be a malfunctioning router somewhere between one of these networks and your ISP/Webhost is the one who needs to resolve this
