Definitely in for the Iota show.  Saw him there a few years ago.  And even at the old 930 many years before that.

I take it you think I was asking a serious question...

I intentionally spelled his name wrong, similarly to how some people on here spell my screen name as Kilsally or Killsally.

who?
She was a hall of fame boardie from the early days of the forum. Rhett called her a porky midget once. She sold me a ticket to Lily Allen once. She liked power pop all the time. Rest in peace, Bags.

You know perfectly well that I only allow All-Time Great (a designation higher than Hall Of Fame) boardies on my social media. There's only 5 of you I have deemed worthy. Bags doesn't make that cut. No way.

THe "Just Announced" thread had me give a gander to other topics, which I haven't done in like a fiscal quarter.  So glad I still come up and am a bona fide Tommy defender.

ohmigod I posted here before even getting to the good stuff.  Love love....  No not dead, still raging in my heart at Rhett re porky midget and seeking to run him over with my humongous Cadillac Escalade.

And I am so fine with not being in the five who get to be FB friends with Julian.  Not sure I could take that.

Though, I'm not sure boardie rants can rile me up anymore.

And I miss LuLu and Markie, but love that Kosmo still DJs and moderates.  Is GGW ever around?

My general rule is if someone goes 2 weeks without posting, I assume they're in rehab. After a third week, I assume the rehab was not successful and they have died.

One tiny correction:

Although it's a certainty that i insulted Bags more than once (Sorry Bags, if you still want to run me over, that's cool too), she was not the porky midget. That was someone else, who posted once and never posted again. A huge loss for the board no doubt.

Ah ha, yes, that's right.  I think I was just one of the masses who took offense.  We no doubt clashed over other things, though -- it's a riot to think about the things I got emotional over!  I never wanted to or want to run anyone over.  Just finding a way to reference my Escalade, which drove some folks crazy and led them to assume I was a corporate shill.  ;)

Speaking of the old Escalade, isn't it time for an upgrade?  You've had it for a number of years now.

Tommy Keene Should Have Been Bigger. But He Didn't Need to Be. (http://www.esquire.com/entertainment/music/a13978078/tommy-keene-dead-tribute/)

There would be no @musicofeyelids without the brilliance of our friend @tommykeenegroup. He was absolutely inspirational and so supportive of us—even dragging amps down to the club for us to borrow at one of our L.A. gigs. He made us laugh when we were hanging and would blow us away with his songs every time. Our new record is dedicated to Tommy—his friendship and songs lasting forever. Tommy Keene forever.

RAZZ (The) DOCUMENTARY - Directors Cut
AFI Silver Theater Saturday, April 29th at 5:30  https://silver.afi.com/Browsing/Movies/Details/f-0100003827

RAZZ (The) DOCUMENTARY - Directors' Cut
Special Features: Post-screening Q&A with filmmakers Jeff Krulik and Richard Taylor plus members of RAZZ
Razz were one of the most explosive, entertaining and influential live bands in 1970s Washington, DC. From their start in 1971 to breakup in late 1979, a cast of talent — including lead singer Michael Reidy, drummer Doug Tull, bassist Ted Niceley and guitarists Bill Craig, Abaad Behram and the late Tommy Keene — became a wholly original rock band amid a club scene dominated by cover bands, and a record industry that found them impossible to label. This documentary tells the story of Razz, and will be screened in its extended "Director's Cut" form one time only at this special event, allowing the filmmakers to share as much of the story of Razz as possible — whether you're being introduced to their amazing tale for the first time now, or recall first-hand the many raucous nights at the Keg, Varsity Grill, Psyche Delly and more. DIR/PROD Jeff Krulik, Richard Taylor. Total program approximately 180 min.

Pretty sure one of my early Tommy Keene LPs says “management by Seth Hurwitz” on the back.

I have a Razz 45 floating somewhere around here…

That record Keene cut with Bob Pollard is fantastic. The last time I saw him -maybe 2006-he opened for Bob at the 930 but I can’t remember if they performed together although pretty sure they did…must have done songs from that record too although who knows

I don’t think Tommy Keene was at the 930 30th anniversary concert

He was. Even had his nephew on drums for a couple of songs.

Found the 30th show thread (https://forum.930.com/index.php?topic=20290.msg305314#msg305314)

Strange how I wrote "little bird" instead of "little birdy". The LB was Doug Tull, my next door neighbor at the time.
