Walrus gestation lasts 15 to 16 months!
-
Adult walruses eat about 3% to 6% of their total weight per day.
Adults may eat as many as 3,000 to 6,000 clams in a single feeding session.
Observations of feedings indicate that walruses usually fill their stomachs twice daily.
In the summer months, and during the southward migration in the fall, walruses spend most of their day foraging. They eat less on their northward migration in the spring. Food intake for mature male walruses dramatically decreases during the breeding season and probably for a shorter time for females in estrus. Pregnant females increase food consumption about 30% to 40%.

I never suggested it wasn't a fine animal to transition to. . .

I must've missed so much fun during my absence.
What is the deal with walruses/Seth/pools?

What is the deal with walruses/Seth/pools?
Nothing is official but Seth is adding pools to The Anthem and retrofitting MPP with swimming pools as well. People are hearing lots of chatter that he is transitioning to walrus or identifies as walrus-kin. Do a search for "Seth" + "walrus" and you'll see a lot of people are talking about it. Seems like an open secret in DC music circles.

I did find this...https://www.drawnandquarterly.com/blog/2008/08/seth-interview-walrus
also take a peek middle of page 241 (https://books.google.com/books?id=w7FfrQxhnxEC&pg=PT246&lpg=PT246&dq=%22Seth%22+%2B+%22walrus%22&source=bl&ots=RCGjRP-QCB&sig=l7pR2Xto4pHZ00XrMX9kxvj4MT0&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwig__uZr-HUAhWOCD4KHew2Dfo4ChDoAQgqMAE#v=onepage&q=%22Seth%22%20%2B%20%22walrus%22&f=false)
My first instinct is to dismiss and distrust anything that jules utters...
but, there are some clues out there, I'm frankly a little shocked

I don't know the etiquette so I apologize if its not kosher to ask this but is Walrus Boy pre-op or post-op in its transition?

Seth??
I was thinking another prisoner, not Seth. Seth doesn't seem likely to have access to Nevada prisons and he probably has bigger walruses to fry.
fun fact: over 70% of walrus fry-ups end in kitchen fires, due to the very high fat content of walrus meat and the typical inexperience of the cooks (if you've ever smelled burned walrus, you'd avoid it like the plague too - so very few second attempts. which is a pity, because fried walrus is right up there with fried turkey).
-
^^Thread delivers. That is, in fact, a walrus fun fact.
-
yeah I can't compete with that shit
he does have a distinct Canadian advantage on this one (usually only works in hockey and moose tracking)

from the above-mentioned article: "And then there's the lobby's soaring ceiling, which is also the bottom of a swimming pool for residents of the apartment building above."
has anyone actually applied to live in those apartments? if so: are there any questions about one's walrus-ness?

Is Walrus a protected class in the Fair Housing Act? Can Smackie break down the relevant case law?
