Obviously, Ticketflly has been hacked.
Apparently there was a message up on hacked sites earlier saying they are going to leak ticketfly data - oh boy.

I, was going to attempt to think of something snarky and funny to say, but this is not funny.
My head, bows low to the almighty SETH. Thank you, for everything you do.

This is stretching on notably long considering how enormously disruptive it is for so many venues across the nation.

Ticketfly has refused to pay the Bitcoin ransom and is attempting to fix on thier own.
Either way, consider your data shared with others...

Damn . . . my, gay secret will finally be revealed.
But, what I don't understand, is that I can't access this place on any other Gadget except my phone. When I try to access the forum on my tablet, or my computer I get the infamous page that everybody gets, saying they're working on it. But if I try to access the Forum, on my phone, it goes right through.

Likely unrelated but the CC I use in ticketfly was used to buy like $600 in Nike’s overnight. Good fraud detection from Citi, thankfully.

Why, on Earth would you ever store credit card numbers in a website, just to make it easier. Get off your lazy ass and type in the numbers every time.

Where did I say anything about having it stored?

Not surprisingly, I was one of them:
https://haveibeenpwned.com/
My email address was found in:
Ticketfly: In May 2018, the website for the ticket distribution service Ticketfly was defaced by an attacker and was subsequently taken offline. The attacker allegedly requested a ransom to share details of the vulnerability with Ticketfly but did not receive a reply and subsequently posted the breached data online to a publicly accessible location. The data included over 26 million unique email addresses along with names, physical addresses and phone numbers.
Compromised data: Email addresses, Names, Phone numbers, Physical addresses

Interesting link...I have been pawned or hacked nine times...no credit cards in any case including ticketfly
-
Yup, Ticketfly got me too. Great.

Not clear if they have CC #'s or not, but those won't be posted publicly anyway (my TF account does not have a saved CC, though they may have transaction data....). They are worth too much money to simply give away.

anyone notice the logo on the top of the page has changed slightly (way smaller 930 logo)
and the link goes to https://eventbritesites.com/tf/930club and if you go to www.930.com it redirects you to the eventbritesites
Edit...almost all the links at the top redirect to that site (except Merch and blog (which goes to tmlbr))

we are still in the days-between. the website is down, and this is a work around. I think.

I'm very surprised the situation didn't hit the POST til today. Anyone know if it got to any high-profile legit mainstream media by the end of the weekend?

The Post is too busy obsessing over everything 45 does to focus on actual news.

Ticketfly.com: Update on Cyber Incident (https://support.ticketfly.com/customer/portal/articles/2941983-ticketfly-cyber-security-update)
summary: all is back to normal, but expect hiccups in the near term as we implement new security measures.

I don't give a shit if my credit card number gets stolen. No skin off my back.

Ticketmaster Global Hacked (ie, not North America)
https://gizmodo.com/ticketmaster-discloses-breach-that-impacts-nearly-5-per-1827185787
Ticketmaster on Wednesday disclosed a data breach reportedly caused by malware infecting a customer support system outsourced to an external company.
In a statement, Ticketmaster said some of its customer data may have been accessed by an unknown intruder. Email notifications were sent to customers who purchased tickets between February and June 23, 2018, the company said.
Names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, and payment card details may have been compromised.
....
Despite an apparent ongoing investigation, the company claimed Wednesday that less than 5 percent of its global customer base was affected. “Customers in North America have not been affected,” the company said.

Looks like the name of this thread needs to be changed.

Looks like the name of this thread needs to be changed.
I was fully prepared to start a new thread for this until I saw that it did not impact North American accounts, then it was NBD....
-
maybe we need a "we are all hacked" thread
New breach might have exposed data of almost every US adult (https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/technology/a-new-data-breach-may-have-exposed-personal-information-of-almost-every-american-adult/ar-AAzgx4u?ocid=spartanntp)
While the database apparently does not include credit-card numbers or Social Security numbers, it does include phone numbers, email and postal addresses as well as more than 400 personal characteristics, such as whether a person is a smoker, if they own a dog or cat, their religion and a multitude of personal interests. Even though no financial information was included, the breadth of personal data could make it possible to profile individuals or help scammers steal identities.
If confirmed, the data leak would be one of the largest in history, and far bigger than the Equifax data breach last year that exposed the personal information of about 148 million consumers.

As a result of this cyber attack, some venues switched to other ticketing vendors....
Metro Gallery - Etix
Baltimore Soundstage - Ticketmaster
Boot and Saddle - Etix
Union Transfer - Etix

I wonder if timing of their contracts with Fly ending coincidentally or if they had penalties to get out of an ongoing contract or if Fly just gave in without a fight
