I suppose so if you use the reasoning that any time a ticket is resold for more than it was originally bought for “the cream” means it was originally underpriced
I guess prices will continue going up

Unfortunately, from an economic perspective they are largely right. They are already doing things like dynamic pricing to try to capture this, but no surprise that they will amp up their efforts.
Too much disposable income here in DC.

“What I do is a very simple thing. I tell my guys, ‘Go out and see what everybody else is doing. Let’s charge a little less.’ That’s generally the directions. They go out and set it it out. he's clear that he's comparing his ticket prices to other similar acts... so he's saying his tickets are affordable compared to the rolling stones, U2, taylor swift, etc. but to your point, he is making the mental leap from "cheaper" to "affordable".
