Don Letts has been in and around music since the 70s
was even in B.A.D.
Really shocked that he did the Ratt video.I was too, mini-teen hatch LOVED that video (it's horrible, I had a short but big RATT phase, luckily I found punk)

Talk about signs of a dead band….
I've been saying this on here for fifteen years and it's funny how over those 15 years, more and more of you have come over to the correct position that U2 has about 3.5 good records and none of them have come out in the last 30 years.Talk about signs of a dead band….
I could've sworn they died in 1988.

I will need to review the file I keep on you to see what you've said in the past. Please never put me in the group of people that thought U2 was a good band.

Zoo ropa and Pop are good albums.you are confused and this is wrong
A second peak with the reinvention of U2 on Achtung BabyThis is the most insane thing I'll hear all day.
Zoo ropa and Pop are good albums.I stand corrected.
Yeah, but will you buy the album?
I'm so confused. You're saying Julian is going to borrow my mom's stream? No, you're mom is accessing my stream. Try and keep up.

Unsure if it's a Doors tribute album
She'll be selling out The Anthem in no time.I believe that
I thought she peaked when she played Union Stage for $15?
My wife loved that show, but I wasn't wowed. She doesn't have that much stage presence, and her songs are all mid-tempo samey.can confirm
She'll be selling out The Anthem in no time.

I was at a house party show in DC where Lucy was playing
it is the day her album debuted on matador (was released earlier on a small label before)
Since it's a house party, I brough my own beer
And I'm hanging at the merch stand watching the last band, when Lucy walks up and stands next to me waiting for her chance to go on
I congratulated her on the Matador release and said 'would you like a beer?' to which she replied "no thanks"
if that's creepy, we may need to revisit the definition.
but alas, very on brand for a yada comment
The time I met Julien was at a DC 9 show (which Lucy happened to be opening for and I was blown away)
at the end of the show she was hanging out and talking with people at the merch table

please show me on the doll where sidehatch violated you
oh wait this was durring your real estate seminar, now I remember, you were trying to sell time shares or something?
also, guess you have never been to a house party...you bring your own beer. I had a bag of beer, reached in and said, do you want one
Wasn't like I said 'hey bartender, let me buy a drink for that damsel at the end of the bar'
Last time I saw sidehatch, he wasn't pear-shaped. That said, its been a few years.offering a woman a beer is creepy? what kind of woke SJW cancel-culturer are you??

well, if you go in expecting dancefloor bangers, then yeah, it'll be awful. but if you happen to like classical and/or ballet music? Then why wouldn’t you just listen to people who do that for a living
Perhaps this is just a genre I listen to more than most, but there is wild overlap between "people who compose modern classical music" and "people who make something closer to EDM".I don't know whether this is going to be good or not but just because Daft Punk was Daft Punk sounding doesn't lead me to believe one of their dudes cannot write a decent modern classical piece.well, if you go in expecting dancefloor bangers, then yeah, it'll be awful. but if you happen to like classical and/or ballet music? Then why wouldn’t you just listen to people who do that for a living

less "classical" and more "cinematic", imo. would be great with some visuals, but on its own it doesn't do much for me.
yet, here we are.Indeed.

Meanwhile, members of Rancid, Operation Ivy, Trash Talk and The Bronx recently came together to form a new project called Bad Optix.
The new ska-punk band was formed by Jesse Michaels and Rancid guitarist Tim Armstrong, both of whom performed together previously as part of ’80s band Operation Ivy.
Joey Castillo (Circle Jerks, The Bronx) and bassist Spencer Pollard (Trash Talk) complete the supergroup.

"Uncle John's Band" is a mix of musical styles, ranging from bebop classics to jazz-rock originals and homages to legendary artists, including Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, the Grateful Dead and more.
Based on this list, it doesn't seem like many albums came out in 2023.
