Title: Blink 182 Takes a Bite out of Art-Rock
Post by: sonickteam2 on October 16, 2003, 12:08:00 pm
Punkband.com reports: An art project is the way Blink-182 envisioned their fourth major-label studio album, which will be untitled, not called Use Your Erection I and II, as was once tossed around. If the album, due November 18, did have a title, perhaps Take Your Time and Polish It would be fitting. Ditching the typical recording process of writing and demoing several songs and recording them in a studio one instrument at a time, Blink-182 moved into a house and approached each song together.

The untitled album will feature 14 tracks, along with a bonus DVD containing six new videos â?? "Feeling This" plus five by director Scandalous â?? and footage from Blink-182's August performance for troops in the Middle East.

That sounds like a reply from a 14 year old......or younger. I do believe though that Rap died about ten years ago.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are playing a late show
Blink 182 is a matinee show (as stated on hfs site)
I'm sure they will provide details soon.

When will they announce when tickets go on sale Saturday October 25 and will it be at the box office or at the outlets?  The New York show goes on sale at the venue except a different venue close to Irving.

I would assume that all options open at once providing that the particular businesses are open.

The post in the faq said the 9:30 club box office only.

I'd pay $1, but I won't wait in a line. So, there you go.

I may go see the Yeah Yeah Yeah's though, a little late for the teeny bopper Blink 182 fans though so i don't expect to see them there.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs is a midnight show -- I thin that will be a GAS.  Think Karen O will be drinkin'?

There's actually *another* show between the odd Blink 182 $1 'matinee' and the YYYs.  Keller Williams (?) is doing an early evening show w/ doors at 7:30.

Not much, if at all, since she fell off the stage and banged her head up in Australia. She was back again a night or so later but rolled on stage in a wheel chair. Don't be surprised if you see a bit tamer show. But she's crazy enough, who knows!
