I read that play. What a talent wasted. I wonder if McBeef will be produced off Broadway. I can see Johnny Depp as Mr.McBeef.

??When he was in the room, he would spend a lot of time on his computer, downloading music and stuff,? Mr. Aust. said. There was no single style of music that he particularly liked in particular, from rock to country to pop.
looks like marilyn manson isn't going to get the brunt of this one

Why are you so obsessed with killers? Are you a mass murderer?

looks more like he's obsessed with reading articles before he comments

just from an artistic standpoint, those plays are pathetic. they would be embarrassing from a misguided 14 year old taking a playwriting class at a creative arts camp, let alone a student at a top-tier college. to a certain extent his detachment probably stemmed from a feeling of shame and inferiority based on his emotional retardedness. but he must have been intelligent to overcome being an immigrant and what not and going to Va Tech. Its a tragedy he didn't have a sense of humor or the ability to make friends to help him get his head out of his own a--.
i mean, those plays are just terrible. pure, irredeemable garbage. mr. brownstone? he apes the GNR song by including a character named Mr. Brownstone who won't "leave him alone" (straight from the song) . . . then acknowledges the song and then transcribes the lyrics. off the charts bad. off the charts immature.
this guy had some seriously twisted emotions - but perhaps not entirely unlike a lot of folks who gravitated to Depeche Mode, or Russian literature or whatever artistic outlet before him - and he was ultimately too stupid or evil or unlucky or immature or just plain doomed to not completely blow it . . . well, obviously much, much worse than just blow it.

So who will play him in the made for tv movie?

Its ironic that after you wrote this it comes out that he wrote a "play" called "Mr. Brownstone" and apparantly had "Ishmail Ax" written on his arm at the murder scene. I don't know what it means but maybe those bad vibes Axl has put out by touring w/ an imposter GNR and the cornrows and everything were involved here.

Yeah, he went to Westfields High School in Fairfax Virgina. I used to live right down the street from this monster. Centreville VA (Love it to death) started going downhill ever since a year ago when another student from Westfields opened fire on a police station and killed 2 officers. It shocked me it was another person from around my area that caused this. My thoughts go out to all the families and friends effected by this event.

Taken by themselves I thought the plays rather funny. Given his ethnicity, I'm surprised he didn't kill a comparable number on the drive over to the campus. It's the Rutgers women's team that has no sense of humor.

Actually, events were Surreal, at least according to eyewitnesses and the media:
"It's kinda surreal because I've always thought Virginia Tech was extremely safe, one of the reasons that I considered to come to the school... "
-- Student interviewed by ABC (http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=3046125&page=1) News
"Students in the Northern Iowan newspaper office watched the events unfold Tuesday afternoon. Junior Andrew Weinberg called the event "surreal."
-- WCF Courier (http://www.wcfcourier.com/articles/2007/04/16/news/breaking_news/doc4623d60e6aa86176770553.txt)
From a hospital bed, this injured student tells a sensitive reporter that the situation went from feeling like "a joke" to being "surreal."

<img src="http://www.seaboarcreations.com/gallery/invisibles/images/andre-breton.jpg" alt=" - " />
"The simplest surrealist act consists in going into the street with revolvers in your fist and shooting blindly into the crowd as much as possible. Anyone who has never felt the desire to deal thus with the current wretched principle of humiliation and stultification clearly belongs in this crowd himself with his belly at bullet height."
-- André Breton

I wonder what everyone thought a massive shooting would look like. I'd like to hear exactly what was surprising about the day, how it veered from their humdrum expectations into surreality. I also wonder how something like... oh... a war would blow their minds.
.
I caught some footage of that shooting, and I must say it was undeniably creepy, otherworldly, and bizarre. It was also??easily??the most noirish school shooting I'd ever witnessed. This AP photo of yesterday's tragic, senseless, and flat-out weird carnage speaks for itself:
<img src="http://www.geocities.com/drew483@sbcglobal.net/resources/photos/guernica.jpg" alt=" - " />
"...and after I had pulled all of the spaghetti out of my nose with what little strength I had left, I felt the color of several loud popping noises, and we all rushed to seal the door with tiny, microscopic pieces of chewing gum, but canaries and bats flew out of my pants and ate it up faster than we could set it in place. I laughed, but I didn't know why. And then the door opened... slowly... to reveal a chasm of unspeakable cyclopean eldritch terror yawning before us! The door had hair all around it. It was surreal."
