Title: simple (and sometimes stupid) question

do venues, nine thirty and black cat to be more specific, allow people to bring walkmans in?  i taking the b train to the spot, and from vienna, that's an hour trip, and was wondering if they will say anything when they see my headphones around my neck.

the only time i could see it being a problem is if the device in question has the ability to record, and the band doesn't allow recording.  even then, we'd just hold it in the office for you.  so, no problem at all.
