Title: try to listen to a "kids bop" album . . .

. . . and not want to give up on music all together.  geez, i almost did it for van gogh.

hey, don't knock kidz bop; that shit's hilarious.
 
 their version of "float on," however, manages to do the impossible -- by miraculously being worse than the original, a feat i never thought imaginable.

What you need to get are the "For the Kidz" albums.  They are actually listenable.
