......new single was played on the radio last night. Anyway, it's pretty good, but definately sounds like they're sampling an old Motown song that I can't quite put my finger on. "Heatwave" maybe.
 
 Can someone add insight to this please?

I've listened to the new album a couple times now and it sounds like The Last Broadcast with a Northern Soul backbeat.  What you do need to hear is the b-side to vinyl edition of Black And White Town.  It's called 45.  Doves discover rock and roll guitar on this song.

The Doves graphic artist just did the cover for our 7" to be released in the UK in early April  :p
