I was planning on it, but now I think I will pass. Must save up funds.

This was, without a doubt, the best show I've been to all year.  Sondre has genuine stage presence and a great sense of humor.  He put on a spectacular show despite nursing a cold.  Songs:

Solo (Can't remember full order...Track you Down was the first song he played though):
 Track You Down
 Days That Are Over
 Wet Ground
 Dead Passengers
 You Know So Well
 Modern Nature
 Moonlight Becomes You
(I Call it Love?  New song...didn't catch the name)
 Living Lounge

 With Golden Republic Accompanying:
 Don't Be Shallow
 Virtue and Wine
 On The Tower
 Sleep On Needles

 Encore (Solo):
 Maybe You're Gone

yes, but aren't his lyrics kind of boneheaded?

I thought he sounded good when he performed live on WRNR last year, until he started singing showtunes!  Hello, Frisco!
If you wanna catch another talented Scandinavian, check jazz pianist Esbjorn Svensson 11/8 at Blues Alley, highly recommended

He didn't do Two-Way Monologue?  I saw him walking up Wilson Blvd with his chick probably minutes before he was to go onstage.

That's cool. Sadly, I had to miss him. How was Golden Republic?

Sorry...I thought I put that one in there...Yes he did do Two Way Monologue (an abridged version, without the middle "down" part).  Last one he did before the encore.

Some of his lyrics aren't bad...Though in some songs (Counter Spark comes immediately to mind) he sort of does an Andrew W.K. thing and rhymes words with themselves (like "love" with "love" a few times). He does a lot of interesting change-ups in rhyme scheme, which is one of the things I like about him. Also he's a pop star.  I'm not going into an album of his expecting The Aeneid or anything.    ;)
