Kosmo, what a great playlist!

I see you too are playing The Autumns.   :(    It almost never fails. Whenever I really need a particular day off, that's the day that I have to go into work which means that I can't stay out late, especially in DC, the night before. If I didn't know better, I'd swear my boss planned it that way.

Fico and bassist of Cedars requested a little Liam to get him pumped up for their set, so the decision was made to offer up something "rare" and that one fit the bill perfectly.

I was hoping more of the tracks played Friday were available as full length downloads.  Unfortunately only some of them are as many are only available as snippets or trapped on Myspace.  Enjoy!

Lastly due to a technical snafu on my part which resulted in CD that wasn't being recognized in the player. Several songs, from local bands and beyond, that I had  tracked due to recommendations by you be betty, dcist and other local bloggers didn't end up getting played.  Here are links to some of those.

Panthers -  Thank Me With Your Hands (mstrkrft remix)
  The Bonaparts -  "Tomorrow_and_Tomorrow_and_Tomorrow"
   Voxtrot-  The Start Of Something

Also checkout  Troy Gregory and the Stepsisters Detroit combo led by the guy behind Witches and also ex-member of Prong.

Hello Tokyo, local DC rock group with nice pop sensibilities.

and finally  Computerman  new UK band specializing in energetic rock with synths.
