Fri. Nov. 5th at Marx Cafe: Ex-Panic DJ to guest spin at
« on: November 05, 2004, 08:43:00 am »
Hey there,

Just wanted to give a shout out about tonight. My friend Brandon and I will be joined by Alex Booth, who used to make regular appearances at the old Panic night at the now defunct Metro Cafe.

We'll start spinning around 10:30 and be going until 3am. Great drinks, cool people and a perfectly chill vibe---what more could you ask for of a Friday evening?  Oh yeah---killer tunes!  And it's free all night, but you gotta be 21...

EXCELLENT!  The perfect way to expand the evening after Washington Social Club at Black Cat.  Bitchin', plan to see you there....

Suddenly tonight's turning into a real bruiser!

FoGC, have you been tapping into my MP3s and CDs again? I have got to move my butt to the DC area because I can't get this good stuff at home in any of the clubs or bars. I wish so much that I could get to DC more often. <sigh>

Guess you've heard the new Daydream Nation. What do you think of it? Personally, I'm really liking it. Starts out sounding like Swervedriver and then moves onto BRMC and then takes it into it's own yet very similiar realms. Bags and Kurosawa, one of the guys in the band use to play with The Brian Jonestown Massacre and you can definitely hear it.
