Tommy Stinson @ Otto Bar
« on: September 09, 2003, 10:10:00 am »
Did anyone go to this show?  I'm such an idiot, I completely spaced on it.  Tommy and the Figgs, each doing a set, then doing a set together, apparently.

If you're interested, his website looks really interesting.  It's worth checking out just for the opening window.

I can't believe none of you care about Tommy anymore?

Do you realize he's only, like, early 30s.

Arrr, I care, Bags!  But I'm also concerned as to whether he ever really had the talent that I hear on Tim.  What's his music like now?

Didn't he hook up awhile back with Axl Rose?

I don't know what his music's like now, hence the hope someone here caught him in Baltimore.

A friend of mine in L.A. saw him play a solo show and said he was amazing.  This guy has good taste (to me), so I'm hopeful.

And yes, Sparx, Tommy is the bassist in the new Guns n' Roses, which he says is still a viable band on his website.  I mean, he just said this in the past couple of weeks!

Yes.  He played on that joke of a G'nR tour last year.
