He's probably just super happy that he didn't end up with Nelly Furtado back when he was fooling around with her. I saw a picture of her the other day and before I read the caption to see who it was, I swear, I thought it was some 40 something year old woman. I was shocked to see who it was! Isn't she just barely able to buy alcohol or close to it?
 
 It only got worse when I saw another picture of her which showed more of her whole body. Let's just say, she's no Madonna.

These constant duets and mashups are simply ridiculous.  Not a creative bone in the producers body - it's like new music isn't good enough unless they do something different with it.  Radio has caused a lack of respect for the single.  I thought the iPod saved the single...
 
 And by the way, Jay-Z and Linkin park, nobody sings over Sir Paul when he's singing Yesterday...

Say what you want about U2, but Sometimes you can't make it on your own is one of the best U2 songs in 15 years.
 
 Call me sentimental, but I was really hoping Cream would perform.
 
 Kanye West was rather enjoyable - I never tire of a drum line.  But I'm pretty sure that we're 12 months away from only mentioning Jamie Foxx when we're discussing Cuba Gooding Jr.
 
 Poor Christina Aguilera.  Best voice of all the teeny boppers but could never put herself together.  She couldn't successfully straddle the line between trashy teen pop star and legitimate female pop vocalist.
 
 I've never heard of John Legend, but the good news is after winning the best new artist award, I won't have to worry about it 'cause I'll never hear of him again.
 
 The TiVo has caught up, so I'm forced to watch the last 15 minutes in realtime....oh the agony!!!

Ha - too funny.  The one time Larry Mullen Jr. wants to speak, Kevin (or was it Bean) cuts him off.  I'd love to hear why the crowd was laughing a few minutes afterwards, so if any of you find out before I wake up, kindly post.
 
 Poor Gwen was shut out.  I feel badly for her.  But as a proud U2 fan, I'm sure she's fine to lose out to them.
 
 All in all, I give the show a B-/C+.  Started strong, but they just try to hard to mix too much stuff that should never be mixed.  Kind of like radio, they just don't get it.
