This is a really fun setlist, I'm so glad I clicked on this thread!

Bettye Lavette  'You'll Never Change' - can't wait to see her at Bonnaroo.

Carole King  'I Feel The Earth Move' - don't think I've ever heard this during a DJ set before!

Fleetwood Mac  'Go Your Own Way' - ah, Lindsey's best song ever.

This has got to be some of the best segues EVER.  How'd you think to place the Doobies between Human League and Thompson Twins?  That is hysterical.

 Donna Summer  'Hot Stuff'
Paul Young  'Come Back and Stay'
The Human League  'Don't You Want Me'
Doobie Brothers  'What A Fool Believes'
 Thompson Twins  'Hold Me Now'
Stealers Wheel  'Stuck In The Middle With You'
 Bananarama  'I Heard A Rumor'
Simply Red  'Moneys Too Tight to Mention'
 Pixies  'Where Is My Mind'
 Supergrass  'St. Petersburg'

This is an older crowd, right?  Did you end with the Pixies and Supergrass just to see the confusion on some people's faces?   ;)

Thanks Arlette

I really had fun DJing this one - the crowd reaction was great and I think I covered every decade from the 50s through today.

It was an older crowd but not as old as I thought - I'd guess the mean age at about 35.

Some folks did recognize the Pixies song but I don't think anyone knew what Supergrass was but it was a nice mellow end to the evening and a nice preview of the Sunday night Supergrass show.....it was the first song they played in their set

Yea, but it's sort of the "what thing doesn't match the other things" on that list (along with Supergrass).  It was never a big hit, those other songs were. You got one radio hit right into another and then.....The Pixies.

People might not remember the band name "Human League", but everyone heard that song ad nauseum.  I bet the crowd loved hearing that song, Hold Me Now and even Stuck in the Middle....I know nothing about Stealer's Wheel but I pretty much know all the lyrics to that song.

ooops, I was typing, got distracted and then just hit Add Reply without seeing your post, hence the out of sequence convo.
