should be a good show, especially with (the sounds of) kaleidoscope opening, they are top-notch. but i will be at iota checking out holly golightly, which should be super-extra top-notch, and this time i won't have to miss game 7 of the yankees-red sox to catch her, like i had to last year.

ignore what is not loud.  appreciate what is j. mascis.  he will force you to change religions towards his guitar jesus-ness.  even rhett cannot deny, though he hates that black bum who sits out front of black cat.  feel the power.

I'm going. I'll be another one of those annoying types hoping for more Dinosaur songs. And judging from last year's Valentines Day show (which was incredible), he will oblige.

what a strange show . . . for black cat.  j played shorter version of songs, but i'm used to that by now, and added a few new "reverb" instraments of doom to his guitar arsenal.

let me just say, that schools freaking rocked.  word up to your mother. and the drummedr kicked some serious ass, as well! i felt as if i was in the presence of three gods:  j. the guitar jesus, and school the bass master, and a drummer that sow no ends.  what a show . . . but man, they ended so early!  what a short show.  sadness mixed with bliss of seeing the masters at what they do best.  j usually plays straight through, but there were some breaks, which i attribute to schools being used to breaks with widespread panic, but it ended way, too soon, but i think i said that already.  the crowd was your typical, "i don't know how to rock at a rock show, but i'm used to that, too.  even at nine thirty, you see that; no one rocking.  all in all, a great show!  thank you j. mascis, for just being the king, for being the kind person you are, and knowing how to f*@king rock the six string.  bless the dinosaur and the fog.

Length wise, it wsa pretty consistant with what he's been doing during this little tour. He stuck to the set list they had written out and went with it. ~1:30:00 or so. Good show, Schools was awsome on bass, even after breaking a string mid song, still pushing forward strong.

i like the trailing elispse points after your comment, "j mascis", as if it was to signify something incredible, like j himself deciding to put dinosaur back together for awhile.  you know how impromptu the man can be.  (Those crazy Massachutesians!)  maybe even throw lou barlow in as well, even though i know he wouldn't show up.

i will say give the man even more props by saying that everyitme i see him, he tries to pull out a new reverb sound explosion.  bless him again.
