Celeste, you're from Chicago aren't you?  What's the deal on this?

OK first post here, but I used to live in Chicago and couldn't resist.  Basically it was started as a joke site to make fun of the crowd who lived in lincoln park but then a lot of people who were being made fun of started using it in a non-ironic way.  so there are like 3 levels of postmodernity on that thing; it makes your head spin after awhile.  you rarely know who's being serious anymore (although i'm pretty sure "Tomislav the Laborer" isn't a serious post).  but i do know that 'stan grabowski' in the forums currently lives in dc.

It's a great site.  I'm thinking the closest we have is G'town or Bethesda.  Thanks for the info Skonster.

Ugh. Gag me with a spoon. Sounds like Great Falls/McLean/Georgetown

Sounds like the Lyons Village/Clarendon area.
