GGW's right - 10 years from now you'll all get refunds for postponement, but right now, only CA. [/b]
Sorry to disappoint, but thats not quite the truth. i had tix to see people in planes at the bowery, and they moved their show to another venue, since blue october couldnt play. refunds were given even tho the event was rescheduled. that could be thanks to ticketweb (part of ticketmaster? perhaps). but i did write the bowery and they were also willing to give me a refund. on top of it, bowery encouraged me to get a refund for the people in planes show since it was cheaper at the mercury. LOL im surprised that tickets.com dont give refunds for a show thats been rescheduled. i got enough refunds out of them in the past.

but thankfully i should be seeing snow patrol sat. night in NYC assuming they dont cancel here as well.

havent heard much of their new stuff - but dont see how in the hell they can be compared to the goo goo dolls. i see them being more similar to travis than any goo goo dolls stuff. and speaking of travis, wonder what ever happened to them. [/b]
Could the refund have had anything to do with the fact that the event changed venues and price? I imagine we would be giving refunds in that situation as well. [/b]
actually the event was rescheduled ala snow patrol. but the openers (people in planes) just happened to be having a show the same night at the mercury. but the headliner (and people in planes) are still playing the bowery for their "original" date. but if im correct i think bowery and mercury share ownership? im not sure, but i figured that was the only reason bowery told me to get a refund and see PIP for cheaper. im not sure how many people tried to get a refund, because i guess if you liked blue october you'd still wanna see them.

im not saying 9:30 should do this, i just thought it was interesting.
