a bunch of my friends in high school were into the whole athens/atl singer/songwriter scene, and i haven't heard anything that sugarland has done, but the three members (ex-soul miner's daughter, ex-billy pilgrim) are all really heavy hitters in that scene ... billy pilgrim had one song i really liked, "insomniac," but it was mostly pretty schmaltzy stuff
