Sony discovers the interweb
« on: February 25, 2005, 10:57:00 am »
Sony Publishing is just now going after Beatallica for copyright infringement after they were mentioned in Boing Boing a hot blog.  Beatallica that ever so  clever parody of Metallica doing Beatles songs has been around for awhile.  The kidz would say it's a mashup, but not really seeing as it involves real musicans and not samples.  And one has to know anything involing  Metalliac that hasn't been sued into oblivion has at least tacit approval from the band.  In fact uber control freak Lars is said to be stepping in behalf of the band over the matter...

Silly Corporations Parodies Rawk!  And make sure your mobile phone account password isn't easily guessable, or else those embarrasing calls to the hooker who spanks your diaper wearing bum will posted on the interweb thingy.

Oh yeah, I wonder when the club is going to Book Nudist Priest, completely with strategically placed guitars.  Don't think the work firewall is going to allow me access to thier website.

And for the king of screen name mashups, he's so deck, I present  Deva the only female fronted Devo tribute act
