30 Rock and SNL casts perform in front of 150 people

I know most of you are going to say that SNL sucks, but this was a really neat idea.  I wish I could go to the 30 Rock Show tonight (along with about 10,000 other people).

I think the cast is really strong right now. The writing is still just abysmal.

I guess it was cool what they did.  It's tough up there for people working at NBC.  My cousin works for Conan.

But SNL is just worthless garbage and always has been.  You shouldn't be at home at 11:30 on a Saturday night.  You should be out getting drunk and getting laid.  The very concept of making an appointment to watch  television at 11:30 on a Saturday night is one of the reasons the entire post-SNL generation is awful (I don't include myself.)  I can't think of one SNL skit that was ever funny.  And they're so  smug  and  self-satisfied with what they are doing.  Like they're inventing comedy or something.  From John Belushi and Billy Murray to Amy Poehler and Jimmy Fallon.  F*** 'em.  F*** 'em all.

SNL belongs in the pantheon of worthless overrated things along with The Beatles, Monty Python and Shakespeare.

P.S.  Doesn't anyone go out and have a good time anymore?  Why would you want to be watching television at 11:30 on a Saturday night?

All I know is - I might have missed that show and Im a big fan of the UCB Theater, but I wont be missing this.

If you have ever woken up the morning after your office holiday party and cringed the entire day out of embarrassment, this party is for you. Yes, you derailed a potentially promising career, but don't worry, it could happen to any of us, most people just don't have your obviously debilitating psychological issues. Our friends at UCBT have put together the best and worst aspects of office holiday parties into one hilarious night. Enjoy their sketch comedy and crowd induced improv while drinking ambiguous red punch with fellow 'co-workers'. The icing on our office holiday cake is an amazing rock show by We Are Scientists.

I'm in Hollywood for a few days and we caught the UCB out here on Saturday night.  Thoroughly enjoyable. Except for this part...
