Dan Band Roll Call
« on: November 29, 2007, 01:35:00 pm »
I can't believe there's not a Dan Band roll call.  If Smackie still lived in DC this is the show he'd bring all his ladies to.  Of course, when they're in LA Smackie goes solo because the chances of running into someone on your Top 5 get out of jail free list is through the roof.

 Total Eclispe
 Genie in a Bottle
 Flash Dance and Fame
 Hold On

Seriously, if Miss P and 6949 miss this show, they're off my list.

I entered the contest on the 930 homepage to win these tickets, I'm just waiting to get a congratulatory email. (ahem)

It was a RIOT!

Loved his moves, esp. when he did Hips Don't Lie, Tyrone, and No More Drama...

 The ladies loved him!

Awesome.  Glad you liked it. They seldom disappoint - just a high energy fun show.

I was there as well. And enjoyed it. Used my V-Fest voucher to get in, so the price was definitely right. Having never seen nor heard of him before (we don't have cable and I haven't seen 'Old School'), it was all new to me so lots of good laughs were had. The yodeling in "Lady", the mangled lyrics to "You Oughta Know" and the merry MF Xmas tune were all very good stuff.
