MacRock 2004

So I went to MacRock last year and really enjoyed it. This year, it is April 2-3 and  here is a list of the bands confirmed so far. Many more will be added. I haven't decided for sure, but I may go to see The Wrens.

hmmm... that list is looking alright so far, i'd love to see an albatross, +/-, the wrens, and mates of state. wish i could've gone last year to see converge kick some scary ass, etc... but i ended up just staying home and doing nothing. huge hordes of random/drunken/sweaty/ugly people don't really appeal to me, though. so the list better be fuckin awesome if i'm going to trek out to harrisonburg for the show!!   ;)

I'd definitely like to do it this year, although the lineup is only so-so right now...still, +/-, An Albatross, Carlsonics, Sufjan Stevens, Summer Hymns and the Wrens are all worth it.

I feel like going to this, I'd be down for a road trip with the boys, but this is the same time as Bob Dylan like four minutes from my house.

Last year converge played in a stadium, but the rest of the bands play on the floor and get lost in a midst of skinny kids in small black t-shirts.
