Did anyone on this BB see the Jonny Lang performance last week? If so any feedback? Have you seen him and the band before? I'm a new fan and would like background on the group, more specfically the band. Thanks

I saw the show. He played for a little over an hour and a half. He is amazing - quite the little prodigy as they say [about him] - blues/music coming outta that kid. check out www.jonnylang.com. Not sure what you mean by the group/band...? Do you mean the band that played w/ Jonny? He's an individual artist w/ a band to support him....Indigenous opened for him if that is who you are referring to.

I saw him.  He was good stuff. I've seen him before, about 5 years ago, at Wolftrap.  Both shows were great.  
 
 One thing I noticed about this show is that his newer material seems much more rock-oriented, and it seems as if he may be trying to get some mainstream radio play for some of his new songs.  His old stuff had a lot of rock, too, (at least most of his songs), but even the rock stuff seemed bluesier than some of the new stuff he played last week.  It was still good, though.  It would be great if he could make some money, maybe get a mainstream hit.  He's a phenomenal talent.

I knew that Jonny was the artist and had the support band. I am seeking info on them, the supporting musicians. I didn't see the opening act, but heard they were great. i just wanted to know more about the musicians that support jonny on his tour. thanks
