These two just don't seem right.  Jimmy was born in maybe 1940, but not earlier, and while he was a session player, unless Tom Jones recorded in the UK he wouldn't have been playing on his record.  The rest, I really don't know for sure.

It should read, aged:59.  Not 69.  Other than that it's golden.  He did play with Tom Jones.

 BTW, Bill Wyman's 67.

Sorry but that biography page has some fatal flaws in it so how can I trust anything else written.  It states:

Led Zeppelin got its name from a phrase often used by The Who's drummer Keith Moon who, when describing a disastrous gig would invariably compare it to, "going down like a lead zeppelin".

Nope, Keith and John were thinking of leaving the Who (a supposedly common thought for this band) and starting one with Jimmy Page.  Keith felt the name should be Lead Zepplin because it would go over like a lead balloon.  The Led was used because us stupid Americans would pronounce it like leed.

It is hard to say what tracks he was on as they tried to keep such things secret.  there was another London session guitarist "Big Jim" who did a lot of the sessions.  From what I have read he didn't go out of the London area to do sessions.

In the end, anything you see on the internet can not be trusted.

Page did, however, contribute to Donovan's psychedelic stew, "Hurdy Gurdy Man."  Those licks are Jimmy's.
