Hey yan....er psuedoscousetwat....so what you're trying to say is JT is Americas answer to Robbie Williams? Used to be in a crappie boy band....refused to pack it after his 15 minutes were up, and now just won't go the fuck away.

I like Robbie Williams.  Guess that makes me an OLD teeny bopper.  Though I only have one album, and no posters.  Still, I'll gladly admit to being a fan.  Though i do believe he moved out of L.A. because no one recognized him!    :p

Who is JT? I'm a newbie. I just moved back here from Nashville. Why is JT the best show to come to 9:30 in a decade? I'd say it's Gillian Welch but only if she plays "Snowing On Raton." Maybe Lucinda Wms but I'll never know because I couldn't afford the $8933.95 ticket price. Can anyone in the D.C. area survive a whole night of twang? I grew up in the parts Fairfax County where country music was not encouraged. I went to Iota last night and saw Jim White and the Handsome Family. People liked it. All the emo girls said, "Yee-haw!" The times they are a-changin.

any people who joined here JUST to talk about JT should have their own section of the forum (like FAQ) so they can babble on and on about how they SWEAR he looked at them at the show, so we don't have to yell at them and waste our energy.   :p

Yeah, and I tried to register a long time ago and the forum wasn't working and my account wouldn't set up and I got sick of trying so now even though I tried, I look like a newbie. And I always will because I like to read and not post. So there. (tee hee)

Being serious for one moment, some music is aimed for the kids (10 - 16 year olds) and the rest for the late teens plus crowd.  There aren't many artist (and I use that term loosely) that can transcend from entertaining the kiddies to becoming accepted as a serious "adult" performer.  Timberlake could do it, but more than likely, he'll always be remembered in the same light as Donny Osmond, David Cassidy, Robbie Williams, etc.
