There's a fine line between people controlling their own dickheadedness and a business owner doing the controlling for them. At that point, I think the business owner becomes the dickhead. The Saloon=The Birchmere?

 It's a quirky neighborhood bar where the owner actually cares about what goes on within his walls, even if some of those cares are oddball...  that makes the place special, along with the great beer selection and food.  For every indignant person who swears never to go back, there are people like me who are glad for that much more room at the bar.

I've been going to Saloon for years and I have never once had a problem with service there....

I have to chime in here because the one time I was at the Saloon the service was utterly abysmal.
