Cool. Thanks a lot. I didn't think there would be a recording of the show.

It's hard not to see the brillance in this album. The album is fresh and fun but still manages to be introspective and contemplative. Not to mention their live shows are insane.

Hey, twice now i've downloaded the torrent file to listen to the bloc party show, but it ends up as a .flac file, which won't play on any of my players, real, windows, winamp, etc., then again, neither time was i here at my computer when it finished downloading, so i don't know if something went wrong halfway through, what is wrong and how can i listen to the show?

Download the flac software:

 http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html

Once you install the flac frontend, you can use it to convert the flac files to wav.

Or use musicmatch to play flac.

New news to me, as I've been offline all day.  If tickets are still available tomorrow at the box office, I'll pick some up.

came late to this...

but as for the original thread topic...

 emo.

 very.

i thought this on first listen. i was loving the album and then there were 2 or 3 songs that stuck out so sorely and all I could think of were my early high school emo days.

so i love the album except for the emo tracks. i always skip them. they don't agree with me.

omg emo wtf.

bloc party is total post-punk, sounds more influenced by the cure or the smiths. especially "this modern love."

"so here we are" is the most expendable song on the record. the only one i skip.

p.s. got my tickets for 6/16. can't wait.
