I would call Waldorf more white trash than ghetto.  I admit that I haven't been there in a couple years, but I used to drive through there for work all the time back in the 90s.  Before the megastores took over 301 and all that.  And who here when you go to California or other far away place would say you are from Olney or Towson.  Then it is 10 minutes explaining where you are from.  Easier to say around Baltimore or DC, if not in them.  The GC thing about Waldorf is just a local version of this.  
 
 And they are nice guys, don't slag them too much, they even remember their roots.  Their music is not my thing, but hey I respect them for being successful at their chosen profession.
