heh... I suspect this "boardie bike ride" thread is a veiled excuse to talk about bikes, rather than an actual serious attempt to organize a ride.  :)

that is so not true!  i'm still all about the ride.  it's just folks keep flaking- myself included.

you could borrow mine, and i could ride my road bike.  or you could order the Surly/MA3 from the shop for like $120 I think.

Don't have the $120 lying around just yet.  Talked with Ben a day or two ago and he said to stop by, but I might have to wait a while on that.

Ben isn't selling his wheelset-- just his frame at this point-- last i checked.  But it's a nice frame.
 
 Yeah.  Track wheels are really expensive-- the hubs are what do it, and it sucks.

he's selling his gray steamroller-- it's too big for him-- and replacing it with this year's graphite black one.
