Burning Brides Question
« on: July 01, 2006, 03:38:00 pm »
Purchased what I thought was a early indie release by the Burning Brides on File 13 records, that could be identical to the album later released on V2. i.e. same track listing different artwork.  Anyone if the records are indeed the same and just repackaged or did they re-record it?

I think they just repackaged the album for V2. The File 13 website points to V2 regarding picking up Fall of the Plastic Empire.

I have a copy of the earlier version on CD.  It is different artwork than what you show (black and white in a 1/2 wide CD case).

Listen to the second one again, I had the same general impression on first listen, but it has since grown on me.

I think the big switch in art, aside from the new label and larger distribution, was because the original drummer wasn't in the bad when the re-released was put out.
