To park in the lot on 9th St, do we have to buy parking tickets in advance or can we pay at the lot when we get there? Is it better to buy the parking tickets in advance?

if you want to have a spot reserved then you should buy your ticket in advance.  Sometimes the lot does fill up but if you have a ticket then a spot will be saved for the duration of the show.
