It's that time of the month where those of us overburdened by the vagaries and insanities of daily life seek solace in fine Belgian ale, friends & strange underground music over at the Marx Cafe for "We Fought the Big One," our humble monthly dj endeavor. I recently returned from a four day record-buying jaunt in New York City (under the guise of...get this...a professional development conference for work!---they'll never know---wink, wink).

Anywho, I am now in new/old record overload mode after spending arguably way too much time (and money) at all those great East Village record shops! While my credit cards are still hurting, the good news is that I will have plenty of fresh tunes to share with you guys come Friday. And I know my partner in djing crime Brandon has got loads of new/old goodies as well, so you're in for a real treat this month, so come out come out come out...
