have a quick question:  i've been to 9:30 plenty of times, and i'm coming up for the sonic youth and polyphonic show.  the way i normally come, which is easier for me (66 east into constitution, down to a left on 7th, up to v and i'm there.  i was wondering with all this terror scare tactics going on, if any street closings are going on, or is my normal way of travel to the club safe?  thanks

I have found that the best way to get from point A to point B is the way you know.  When I come to the club from 66 I go down to 6th and then turn left up to Florida then turn left to 9th and turn right.  Other folks will take 66 to Rock Creek Park and then get out of Rock Creek Park by the zoo and come across Irving St.  Rock Creek Park certainly will take you away from the areas most effected by the security precautions being taken but not everyone is comfortable driving through Rock Creek Park.  Does that help?
