Found some really great tracks via eMusic recently... Amp Fiddler, The Washington DCs a obscure British Invasion act, and the coolest find  Hot Funky & Sweaty a compilation of current acts inspired by the funk of the past.  The Gene Drayton Unit turned the Undertones chestnut "Teenage Kicks" into a 60s instrumental soul groover.

The Sidney Hall track was released on the DC based 60s label Shrine Records, considered by some collectors as one of the rarest Soul labels.

Linda Lyndell recorded the original version of "What A Man" found on a great collection called Soul Sides volume put together by Oliver Wang of the  Soul Sides blog
