Problems for new users

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but a couple friends have tried to sign up as new members here, and have not been able to do so.  It seems to coincide with the odd error message that's on the 9:30 Club home page in the bottom box about the Forum.
 
 Have you heard this from others?

Yes.  We know.  We are having trouble getting the kinks out of  the machine but we are looking into it.  Have your pals try back in a week or so.
