Fan Death snoozeletter
What's up? Lots of news here at Camp Fan Death.
First off: today, the DRUNKDRIVER 7", "Knife Day/January 2nd," is finally out! Drunkdriver are one of our favorite bands - one of the best punk bands going, in our opinion, and we are honored to be putting out a 7" by them. Both tracks are some of their most blown-out and fucked sounding songs yet. 500 copies with no repress. Available through our website (fandeathrecords. com) and, soon, through a few distros and stores. (Distros and stores - get in touch if you want to carry this.) Europeans - Bis Aufs Messer (Berlin) and a couple other places will have copies. In Baltimore, Celebrated Summer Records and Soundgarden already have copies. Drunkdriver are playing on March 6 at the Silent Barn in Brooklyn, have a couple of weekends lined up in April on the east coast, and will be playing this year's Chaos in Tejas festival in Austin in May.
Our next release, a vinyl issue of RINGO DEATHSTARR's self-titled EP from 2007, will be coming out in the middle of the month, hopefully in time for SXSW. Test pressings and art proofs have been approved, and we're just waiting on the copies. The test pressing sounds absolutely incredible. Ringo are doing a week tour up to New York before SXSW.

TRUE WOMANHOOD are also finishing up a brief tour up to Boston, and are currently recording, recording, recording. They play DC9 on March 15 with Crystal Stilts; George Washington University on April 3 with Sick Fix and Remainder; and DNA Test Fest on April 24.
THE LAMPSHADES are continuing on their quest to play every town in Pennsylvania, while they demo tracks for their upcoming Fan Death 7" and full-length, slated for release later this year. They play March 7 at WMUC, April 24 at DNA Test Fest, and a bunch of shows in between.
CLOCKCLEAN ER are playing their last show ever in Philly in April.
We updated our distro, including copies of Drunkdriver's LP and releases by FNU Ronnies, Sisters, Ceremony, and Screen Vinyl Image.
Regarding recent mailorder: things got delayed due to a number of unfortunate circumstances (family and personal emergencies) that happened to Sean and me over the past couple of weeks. We had our plate pretty full for a while, but now those issues are hopefully mostly out of the way. If you have not received your order, contact us immediately so we can resolve any situation.
Also, DNA TEST FEST II will be happening on April 24 and 25, at the Velvet Lounge in Washington, DC. The lineup has been finalized.
