Air Atlantic Underground Radio is both pleased and honored to announce the arrival of a new DJ to the station. Of course, along with a new DJ comes a new show full of delightful bliss to titillate your senses.
Please join us in extending a fond welcome to Scott Causer who will be the host of a show called Revolution In Sound.
Some of you are already well familiar with Scott?s worldwide reputation on the Shoegaze and Psychedelic music fronts as being the owner and enigma behind the great Northern Star Records. Scott Causer hails from Wales but has since made his home in London, England. He is the main thrust behind the band The Electric Mainline and is also part of another musical project called Perfect Blue.
You may be familiar with Northern Star?s Psychedelica dual disc compilations which are jammed packed full of cerebral nuggets to twist your brain every which way. They are just a sampling of what Revolution In Sound is set to offer. The show is already loaded with Psychedelic treats from Philadelphia to Moscow and all points in between. All it takes is for you to tune in, sit back and get ready to take off with a Revolution In Sound on Air Atlantic Underground Radio.
Revolution In Sound airs on Air Atlantic Underground Radio ?

It's showtime!
The show starts out with some Russian Psychedelia and then continues with loads of gems.

My newest DJ, Scott Causer, was just asked to do an article on Shoegaze (in its broadest sense of the term) for the British music webzine Drowned In Sound. Apparently, it's Shoegaze Week there.
It's a nice little article with lots of mention of some very good bands with links and videos. Of course, all of which can be heard on Air Atlantic Underground Radio, including within Scott's show, Revolution In Sound.
Here's the article link:

Some of the new Psychedelia coming out of Russia is probably what I've been most excited about lately.
I know. Shoegaze. Psychedelia. Same? Different? They are different but the newer sounds are merging. Scott gets into that. For me personally, it was my age old love of Psychedelia that pre-disposed me to loving the 'Gaze from its onset so it all makes perfect sense to me. In both of its newer forms, the genres are merging to create its own sound.
Next edition of Revolution In Sound on Air Atlantic Underground Radio to air today (Wednesday) between 4:00PM - 6:00PM). Airs again on Friday between 9:00PM - 11:00PM.
Turn on. Tune in. Have a Psychedelic Gaze out.
"Kind of like 'Gazing on acid."

Drowned In Sound just yesterday (Thursday) posted a nice interview with Scott regarding Northern Star Records and his Psychedelica compilations along with his newest compilation to come out in June called Revolution In Sound. Includes more cool vids and music links.
Here's the link to the article:

Speaking of Revolution In Sound, the Revolution In Sound radio show airs again tonight (Friday) between 9:00PM - 11:00Pm on Air Atlantic Underground Radio.

You should also be aware that a lot of RIS music will be included in the Whirlpool show on Saturday nights between 9:00PM - 12:00AM.
